Hi, I'm Mak! A wine lover, avid traveler, enthusiastic home cook, and newly minted Level 1 sommelier who doesn't actually work in the wine industry.

I've traveled to more than 50 countries, and somewhere along the way, I fell in love with discovering the stories behind what we eat and drink. Whether it's a bottle from a tiny winery, an unforgettable meal, or something wonderful I stumbled upon in a local market, I'm always looking for good things worth bringing home.

When I started studying wine, I was hooked. But learning without working in the industry isn't always easy, so I started Mak's Wine Club and roped my friends into the adventure.
Now I'm traveling, tasting, cooking, researching, and sharing what I discover with you. A little wine education, a little travel inspiration, and plenty of excuses to gather around the table.

The Shop
I don't work in the wine industry, but that hasn't stopped me from wanting to learn everything I can. Since opening three bottles on a Tuesday isn't exactly practical, I started a wine club and brought my friends along for the adventure. We taste, compare, share, and discover what we love—and a little bit of why.
